The big 3' Crayford focuser holds also heavy cameras and allows the connection of the big TS Photoline 3' field corrector TSFLAT3. The CA is slightly better controlled than the Skywatcher but still very obviously there, I'd have liked to have a 6" f8 for comparision, its been a few years since I owned a f8 but the two scopes are pretty close for controlling CA unless my memory is playing tricks. The TS 152mm f/5.9 refractor is good for deep-sky photography, if you use filters against the color aberation, like H-Alpha, R-G-B or swan band nebular filters like O-III, S-II. In comparision with the Skywatcher, the views where pretty similar on Saturn up to around x150 but after that the Petzval stood up a lot better, right up to X400 although it was 'empty magnification' after x350, which is still pretty impressive. It also showed very slight astigmatism which is n't enough to be a concern at the moment but which I'll try to nail down at a later date.
